Red River Reflections | MN/ND | June 2013

Between Grand Forks, N. Dak., and East Grand Forks, Minn., there is a beautiful Greenway, which came to be after the Flood of 1997. The act of nature leading to this space was devastating, but the trails where homes once stood are beautiful. There is a walk/bike bridge connecting the two cities on the Greenway’s south end. No cars are allowed back here.  The stillness of the Red River made for incredible reflections. It was a good reminder for us all to remember to take those moments of pause in our day and enjoy our surroundings.
